In their televised victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Dallas Cowboys sideline featured the hulking image of defensive tackle Josh Brent.
Brent is currently charged with intoxication manslaughter as it pertains to the death of former teammate Jerry Brown.
Both Brown’s family and the Cowboys have been swift to embrace Brent and not isolate him from everyone’s grieving process.
Regardless of their personal choice there are those that feel as if allowing Brent to enjoy the benefit of public recognition on the Cowboys’ sideline is the wrong move to make.
Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones commented on the team’s decision to envelope Brent with positivity.
