Jerry Brown was a member of the Dallas Cowboys practice squad.In the early hours of Saturday morning his life was tragically cut short.Josh Brent has been charged by Irving police, with a charge of intoxication manslaughter following the accident that claimed Brown's life.The official police report stated that the car Brent was driving flipped at least once at approximately 2.21am, before coming to rest in the middle of a service road. When the authorities arrived, Brent was responsive, but Brown was not and was rushed to nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.Brent underwent sobriety tests as police suspected he had been drinking, and was then taken into custody. Upon hearing the passing of his passenger, Brent was then formerly charged.On behalf of the Dallas Cowboys organisation, Owner and General Manager Jerry Jones issued a statement."We are deeply saddened by the news of this accident and the passing of Jerry Brown.
