The Dallas Cowboys injuries list doesn't seem to be getting much shorter.

Of course, preliminary injury reports don't come out until Thursday, but this is the Dallas Cowboys. Every little tidbit of news is scrutinized so heavily, that we can pretty safely analyze the report even before it comes out. Also a big shout out of thanks to Jerry Jones, who seems to comment on every single possible injury the team has.

Who needs injury reports when we've got Jerry Jones?

First up is recovering All-Pro NT Jay Ratliff. Ratliff sat out week 1 against the Giants with his high ankle sprain, and will likely do the same vs. Seattle

"You need to be at a high level of health with your wheels inside there," said Jones. "I’m sure that will weigh into it, more importantly, just where he is opposed to another week, what that would do for us."

The cautious approach is most likely the right one, especially with the emergence of Jason Hatcher ( 5 tackles, 1 sack against NYG).

C Phil Costa will also miss the Seattle game after reaggravating his back injury against the Giants. This means newly acquired C Ryan Cook will get his first start as a Cowboy, and only second of his career.

A new addition to the injury report this week will be Gerald Sensabaugh, who is suffering from concussion symptoms. It is unclear at this point whether or not the starting safety will be available. He would be a major loss to the defense, being one of only 3 players that played all 56 defensive snaps last Wednesday (Sean Lee and Barry Church being the others).

Finally, in a spot of good news, pro-bowl CB Mike Jenkins looks to on the field this Sunday.

"He's impressive," Jones said on his weekly radio show. "He's looked really good at the practices he's been out there"

Jerry also gave us some insight into how Jenkins might be used.

"I’d obviously like to see him out there on all of our money packages, nickel, dime, all of that."

Rob Ryan must be licking his chops this week. The combination of getting a pro-bowl CB back into the mix and playing a rookie QB must be like an early Christmas for Ryan. It will be exciting to see what types of packages and personnel Ryan dials up to try and disrupt Russell Wilson and the Seahawks offense.
