Last week: 10 (+0) Record: 2-2 Believe it or not, the Cowboys actually rank tied for 2nd in the league in yards per play differential with Baltimore and Philadelphia, behind only San Francisco. Turnovers are a huge issue for them as they rank dead last in the NFL at -7 and are coming off a game in which they were -4 in turnovers. However, turnovers are incredibly inconsistent on a week to week basis. Teams that lose the turnover battle by 4 actually WIN it by an average of 0.4 in their next game. The Panthers were in a similar situation last week, facing a team that dominated the turnover battle up to that point, Atlanta, and they almost beat them. The Cowboys have a bye to get things straightened out and to get guys like Jay Ratliff, Anthony Spencer, and Phil Costa back from injury. I think this is an underrated team. Studs LG Nate Livings: Allowed 1 quarterback hit on 56 pass block snaps, run blocked for 11 yards on 1 carry TE Jason Witten: Caught 13 passes for 112 yards and a tou...

  • Four the last four years I have posted comments on the Dallas Cowboys quarterback....humm, what's his name?? Oh yeah, Romo. Why is everyone especially Jerry Jones so wanting him to continue at the helm. They want to succeed but as I have said many times Romo is not the man to lead you to another Superbowl. He is simply just another one of those other quarterbacks that came and went. Dallas, open your eyes he is not a Danny White or an Ackman....gosh, by no means is he any way close to being like those two not so long ago great Dallas Cowboy leaders. As I have noted in the past, Romo has so much self daubt and it shows in his plays almost each time he is out there. Everytime he gets in there especially in tight situations his fans are all going "OH PLEASE, DON"T MESS IT UP".......and sure enuff, he !@#%^ it all to hell. As the season goes so will the moral of all the wonderful players on the team. So, Jerry get it together and get rid of Hollywood Romo. I have been a Dallas fan since the 60's so Dallas stop being in denial take care of business.

It’s time for Tony Romo to go

The play was on 4th and 1 on the 9 yard line with 1:19 left in the 4th quarter, with the Dallas Cowboys about to go up 23-21 with a Martin Gramatica chip shot. Tony Romo was the backup at the beginning of the season and was the place holder for Gramatica for that season and that game. The snap went off to Romo’s hands, but the ball seemed to slip, causing Gramatica to back off...

A new season brings the same old story for the Cowboys

So who are the 2012 Dallas Cowboys? Currently they sit at 2-2 after a Monday Night beating by the Bears 34-18. They now enter their bye week with games against the Ravens, Panthers, Giants, Falcons and Eagles coming up. With the way they are playing they could easily go winless against those teams as they go into the middle of November. Once again I find myself scratching my head...

Cowboys Injury Report: Jay Ratliff, Kenyon Coleman, Phil Costa Return to Practice Field

The Dallas Cowboys have a bye this week which is good news for injured players.  Three of the team's injured players, though, were able to return to the practice field yesterday.   Pro-Bowler Jay Ratliff, defensive end Kenyon Coleman, and center Phil Costa all returned for the only practice the Cowboys would have this week yesterday. According to Nick Eatman of CBS...

Dez Bryant collides with Cowboys cheerleader (Video)

As previously noted before on this website, the NFL sidelines isn't exactly the safest place in the world as one Dallas Cowboys cheerleader found out last night. After Dallas wide receiver Dez Bryant made a sideline catch in the third quarter, he was pushed by Chicago Bears safety Chris Conte. Dez's forward momentum caused him to collide with a camera guy and a Dallas cheerleader...

It's time for Jerry Jones to give up the reigns

The Dallas Cowboys are once again fighting to stay in the hunt for a playoff birth. At 2-2, they're by no means in a do-or-die situation, but Jerry Jones hasn't been able to help his team with new talent, and it looks like it's time for Jones to give up the keys to his team's personnel department. Jerry Jones suffers from a bad case of narcissism. His success...

Dallas Cowboys Lost Because Of Their Fans

Tuesday night after the Cowboys played, I went to a sports bar because I was off; the Rangers were playing, and my brother apparently had found a hangout. While there, I wound up in a short discussion with some Cowboys "fans."  I had to break it off because I realized they weren't going to listen to me no matter what I said.  That's not going to stop me from getting...

Cowboys lose on MNF—or was it SNL?

Da Boys lose to Da Bears The Cowboys lose for the second time in four games—and, just as it we saw in Seattle, it was an embarrassing meltdown of epic proportions. Tonight’s game left me wondering if I was watching Monday Night Football or Saturday Night Live, because the Cowboys are proving they are not-yet-ready for primetime-players. Where to begin? oh wait, I...
