I was hoping I'd more perspective about this after a few hours. Nope. Shooter is also and Eagles fan may be along later with something more analytical. He and Prophet periodically get drunk on some unholy mixture of distilled cobra venom and badger sweat and play something called "Bleed Out" with a machete).
Shooter's a bit more dispassionate than me -- I guess a trained assassin would have to be. As for me, I'm going to avoid anything football related for a week and take a page from Lloyd Carr for solace.
