Redskins Insider:
Just got off the phone with a league source who confirmed the Redskins' fear that veteran defensive end Phillip Daniels has a torn right biceps. But Daniels, who was expected to undergo an MRI exam today, has told team officials he believes he can continue to play despite the injury, which occurred late in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Carolina Panthers. In addition, Pro Bowl tackle Chris Samuels has informed team officials he expects to return to the lineup soon after suffering a neck injury early in the first quarter Sunday and sitting out the rest of the game. Coach Jim Zorn will address injuries during his Monday afternoon news conference.
