St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola was known as a tough player even before he suffered a hit and dislocated his collar bone, an injury that could have claimed his life.
Now, just three weeks after that brutal injury, Amendola is trying to prove exactly how tough he is. The wide receiver is doing everything he can to come back and play this week when the Rams take on the the New England Patriots on Sunday in London.
Amendola told reporters after Thursday's practice that depending on how things feel on Friday, he may be able to suit up.
"I'm almost there," Amendola said. "There's some work to be done, I still need to get some range of motion back and get more comfortable with how I feel. I think I'm going to try to do some more tomorrow and get some more team aspect going into practice instead of just doing individual work."
