Could be one of those situations where Culpepper figured it was best to let home go to foreclosure than paying it off or he might be having financial problems. Either way here are the details according to Pro Football Talk. According to the South Florida Business Journal, a bank filed a foreclosure lawsuit last month against Culpepper, alleging that he has not been making payments on a $2.93 million mortgage he took out in 2006. He is also being sued for unpaid dues to the homeowners’ association of a gated community in which he owns a home.

Unsigned free agent jokes about career change

As an NFL player, Justin Durant has always had to work on Sundays. Perhaps that explains why he'd consider Chick-fil-A for a possible career change. Durant, a linebacker with the Detroit Lions the last two seasons, remained unsigned during the first three days of the NFL's free agency. The quick-witted Durant hasn't lost his sense of humor, though. He tweeted a photo...

Detroit Lions: Greatest Show on Turf 2.0?

I spent the first half of the 2012 NFL season covering the Lions for Bleacher Report. During that time, I watched a team that just one season earlier looked like it was on the verge of great things collapse in the midst of off-field distractions and on-field shortcomings. Perhaps the greatest of those shortcomings was the uncertainty at the running back position. It took a while...

Reggie Bush is now a Detroit Lion after signing a four-year deal worth $16 million, but the Dolphins never approached him with an offer, Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post reports. “It’s just the nature of the business.
