Through three games, David Buehler is tied for the NFL lead in touchbacks with seven, along with Denver's Matt Prater and Seattle's Olindo Mare. Considering the thinner air in Denver, Buehler is hoping to have a perfect afternoon with touchbacks Sunday. He said he might try and put the ball through the uprights ... in warmups. "We'll see what happens," Buehler said. "At Washington State, that was the highest elevation we played at, I hit it off the crossbar." Buehler actually had nine touchbacks against Washington State out of 11 tries. "Ideally I try to get it every kickoff," Buehler said. "Sometimes that's too much to ask but my direction, I've been doing that well. That was my main concern coming in, being able to kick to the right and the left. Joe DeCamillis puts a big emphasis on direction. When it's not in the end zone I want to pin them by the numbers and put it high so vhe coverage team can get down there."
