It has been over a week since the Jaguars shocked the NFL world and released their starting quarterback David Garrard only five days before the start of the season.
While there are some teams out there that would clearly get an upgrade at the quarterback position by bringing Garrard in, he has said that he is no hurry to make a decision about which team he will sign with.
The fact that Garrard has yet to sign does not have to do with a lack of interest. According to his agent, at least five teams have called to inquire about his services. Garrard, however, does not want to sign with a team that views him as a temporary solution at quarterback.
The fact that Garrard has not signed yet means that he is comfortable in waiting to find the situation that fits him the best.
