A tough contest looms this Sunday as the Jaguars take on the Titans at home. The question is whether starting linebacker and team captain Mike Peterson will be in the game, or watching from the sideline.
A lot of people have jumped on Del Rio for the way he's handling Peterson, but I'm jumping in to defend the coach.
Del Rio's the boss. Peterson is being insubordinate, openly arguing with his coach in a team meeting. This team needs chemistry, discipline and consistency, not show boating, disrespectful players. Del Rio is in charge and Peterson doesn't deserve to see the field until he can be humble and follow his coach's lead.
