CINCINNATI (AP) -- No last-minute heartbreak for the Dolphins this time.
Reshad Jones put it away with a saving interception.
Jones picked off Andy Dalton's overthrown pass at midfield with 1:22 left on Sunday, preserving a 17-13 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals that ended two weeks of miserable finishes for Miami.
Miami (2-3) had dropped its past two games in overtime, throwing away leads with turnovers. The Dolphins turned it around against the Bengals (3-2), who never got anything going consistently on offense and wasted a chance for a tighter finish.
Mike Nugent was wide right on a 42-yard field goal try with 3 minutes left -- his first miss of the season -- giving the Dolphins a chance to run down the clock behind rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who was smooth in the toughest moments.
The Bengals got the ball back at their 20 following a punt with 1:45 to go, but Dalton's second interception sealed it. Dalton was only 26 of 43 for 234 yards with three sacks a...

Last week, the Dolphins lost to the Cardinals in overtime after squandering a 7 point lead with less than a minute left. This week, the Dolphins travel to Cincinnati to take [...]

DAVIE, Fla. There was reason for concern. The Dolphins spent last season drop-kicking games away, and not much had been changing in 2012.So pardon Miami wide receiver Davone Bess if he had a worried expression in the waning minutes Sunday as Cincinnati sought to drive for a winning touchdown.A couple of moments it came up where we thought, Here we go again. Same old story, Bess...
With Bernard Scott on injured reserve after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee Sunday in Cincinnati's 17-13 loss to the Miami Dolphins, the Bengals will look to give Brian Leonard and Cedric Peerman more opportunities to be the primary backup to BenJarvus Green-Ellis. MIAMI (17) d CINCINNATI (13)The Headline: Bengals bungle away a win against the DolphinsThe Story: If I’m being totally honest here, this game looked like a slam dunk, bank on it win for the Bengals as they were hosting a team that is not very good, they were on a three game winning streak and this is the exact sort of game the Bengals would play well in to make everyone wonder...
Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill who had been nursing a right thumb injury will not be wearing any protective wraps on his hand.
According to Armando Salguero Tannehill looks fine in practice. Tannehill had been listed as probable on the injury report but there was little reason to doubt that he would play this week against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals are...
