Dallas running back DeMarco Murray is expected to return for Sunday’s night game on NBC. How big of role he will have in tonight’s game is questionable.
All signs are pointing to Murray and Felix Jones splitting time at running back.
Murray has been out since being injured in an Oct. 14 game at Baltimore. Since his absence the Cowboys offense has seen their run totals drop to last in the NFL in yards per game and yards per carry.
How much Dallas can take advantage of a middle of the pack Eagles defense against the run relies on Murray. The Eagles are allowing 117.5 yards per game on the ground. The Cowboys are averaging just 78.7.
