Now we all know that we're worried abou the day weapon X hang's em up. He's been a fixture in the Eagles secondary for a little over a decade. Who will be the future when Dawk retires? Last year Gaddis didnt work out, Considine gets ran over, Paschal didnt play much, Mikell is pretty damn good, and we have JR. But Demps is ready to earn playing time as a rookie, whether its special teams or earning playing time in certain situations. He was a fierce hitter and ball hawk in college, but this is the big leagues and you have to earn your keep and learn every play on defense and special teams. You gotta be mentally allert and make the right calls during the game. Demps said he's willing to do whatever its takes even if it means snapping the ball. He has a good guy to learn from in Dawk, lets hope he uses all that time to soak up the knowledge one of the best in the game has to offer. I like Demps' attitude he seems ready and mature, I hope this kid makes it he definitely has some swagg.
