The Broyles TreatmentPhoto Credit: Kevind810 It's official. The halfway point of the season has arrived and can we just pull over for a second and take a breather? I mean, Calvin Johnson is miles behind us and is lost in some overrated city named Detroit. Arian Foster keeps churning and has established himself as a reliably legit “fantasy workhorse” that will go down in the books. It sure has been hard to find many of those this year. Check Heath Miller on the list of consistent gentlemen that were severely underrated when the season commenced.Fantasy football truly is no easier than putting together a perfect bracket during March. The only reason we have success and win leagues is because were only competing against friends with similar “intellect.” And this claimed intellect is defined as stumbling into the front door at 3:38 AM on a Sunday morning and deciding it's time to be “bold” and bench Eli Manning for Michael Vick.  Two things need to be acknowledged here: all fantasy decisions need to be made before the second Heineken is consumed (insert Jim Carry scene from The Cable Guy) and never, ever, ever bench Eli Manning.Staying focussed throughout the second half is undoubtedly how you use the waiver wire. Make the big moves before they can be seen. Read up for serious knowledge about how even the common man can turn that 4-4 start into a league championship and riches.More after the jump: Kendall Hunter (RB), San Francisco 49ersWe're going to get straight to the facts with this gem. Fact numero uno is that this man is an NFL starting running back and before his career is over, he will be the primary focus of some team's offensive attack. However, in the mean time, he is the glue that holds Frank Gore and the Niners together. Hunter has had exactly eleven touches in five of his eight games this year. I'll take that. But what he does with these touches is why he is still being fed the ball. 350 yards of total offense and he is 31st in the NFL in rushing yards. Yes, this puts him ahead of the likes of Pierre Thomas, Fred Jackson and DeAngelo Williams. Hunter has established himself as the sole and primary backup in San Fran. Obviously, if Frank Gore gets hurt there will be no letdown here. But even with Gore healthy, this is a two-headed monster in the bay and I want some of it on my team regardless. I rarely say go and get a player, but make a point to snag Hunter this week if you are in a deep league.Ryan Broyles (WR), Detroit LionsThe offense in Detroit is just so intriguing for fantasy. They really are a potent offense and have tons of weapons. The loss of Nate Burleson opens the door for others to rise. Broyles is the guy getting the least amount of looks along the treacherous waiver wire this week. Mike Thomas and Titus Young are the focus of all the attention and I think they have an absolute and utter equal opportunity to put up numbers in Detroit. Therefore go get the guy nobody is thinking about. With the departure of the aforementioned Burleson, our guy Broyles steps into the third receiver role. He has a touchdown in each of the past two weeks (the two weeks he has stepped into the role). Thomas could come in and take this new found oasis away from Broyles, but we just don't know. Broyles is a low-risk, big reward player at this time. Just remember he plays for Detroit and anything can happen. It's not too late to turn this season around. Well, it is for the Kansas City Chiefs and my 0-8 team, but keep the spirit alive. Study Depth Chart Digging and you will start ******** results out at a faster rate than Tony Romo throws interceptions. Stay thirsty my friends.Coming Into Radar: Ronnie Hillman, Logan Paulsen, Dwayne Allen
