In this year’s make-or-break Pro Bowl game, Kansas City Chiefs LB Derrick Johnson showed why this year’s Pro Bowl has been more entertaining than many expect out of the yearly all-star competition. Thanks to the new draft format, Pro Bowlers now have the opportunity to face off against some of their teammates. Enter Johnson and his teammate, running back Jamaal Charles. Johnson laid wood on Charles and, later in the first quarter, Cleveland Browns DB T.J Ward does the same to his teammate-turned-foe WR Josh Gordon.
Here’s a GIF of Gordon somersaulting over his fellow Brown, TJ Ward:

The NFL has been the most popular sport for the last 30 years. It also happens to be one of the most violent sports, and sometimes players accidentally wind up hurting a teammate just from being at the wrong place at the wrong time. But it’s incredibly rare for an All-Pro linebacker to clash into an All-Pro running back when the two star players are on the same team. That...
Chiefs linebacker Derrick Johnson tweeted that it felt good to lay out teammate Jamaal Charles during this past Sunday’s Pro Bowl.
Have to give my fellow teammate some friendly fire. LOL! I can't lie, it felt pretty good! #probowl

I would love to know what Chiefs head coach Andy Reid thinks.

The Kansas City Chiefs made headlines Sunday night even though the team’s season ended weeks ago. The Chiefs had the most players of any team at the NFL Pro Bowl in Honolulu and Chiefs linebacker, Derrick Johnson, finished the night by taking home an award as the game’s Defensive MVP. Johnson was just one of the Chiefs’ 10 Pro Bowlers in last night’s game.

Fans may not Pro Bowl as a whole, but you have to like the new fantasy football type format. In the new Pro Bowl format, teamates play against teammates and there has ben some banging going on in this one. Browns safety TJ Ward just dropped the hammer on his teammate in Cleveland, Josh Gordon.
Today Mike Pettine was able to sign Jim O’Neil as his defensive coordinator. In addition, Pettine plucked assistants Chuck Driesbach (linebackers), Brian Fleury (assistant linebackers coach) and Jeff Hafley (secondary) off the staff he worked on in Buffalo as defensive coordinator. Pettine made Brian Angelichio, who spent the past two seasons in Tampa Bay, his […]The post Browns...
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon made the most out of his trip to the 2014 Pro Bowl, hauling in six passes, including a touchdown, for 66 yards. The touchdown, a 10-yarder, came from the hand of San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers and included some fancy footwork by the All-Pro recevier.
In a play that will undoubtedly be on highlight reels galore, Gordon also...
The NFL tried to make the Pro Bowl more interesting by making a few changes this year. The biggest one of course was the switch from a conference vs. conference format to a school yard/fantasy draft style. This meant that teammates could end up playing against each other. So this brought up an interesting question--will they hit each other during the course of play?@SBNationGIF/TwitterCincinnati...
They may be teammates but that didn't mean TJ Ward was going to take it easy on Josh Gordon at the Pro Bowl.
The Browns safety, playing for Team Sanders, upended Gordon, a member of Team Rice, in Sunday night's game.
Watch as Gordon is sent airborne and flips.
Gordon was not hurt on the play and finished the game with 6 receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown.

HONOLULU -- Jerry Rice has fresh bragging rights on Deion Sanders nearly a decade after both players retired from the NFL.
Dallas running back DeMarco Murray caught a 20-yard touchdown pass with 41 seconds left and Carolina running back Mike Tolbert plunged into the end zone for a 2-point conversion to give Rice a 22-21 win over Sanders in the first schoolyard-style Pro Bowl on Sunday...
The NFL is trying to bring interest to the Pro Bowl. This year it was having a draft rather than the traditional NFC vs. AFC match-up.
One of the consequences of this is having teammates playing on opposite teams. As was the case between Jamaal Charles and Derrick Johnson of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Of course the two found each other in the Pro Bowl and of...
Something ironic about Pro Bowl players turning up to a song called “Ocho Cinco”.

One year ago, the Kansas City Chiefs had just finished one of their most memorable seasons in the history of the franchise – memorable, that is, in a bad way.
The 2012 Chiefs season started with so much promise and hope, but only ended with despair and disappointment. What started out as hope and promise, stemming from the return of stars Jamaal Charles and Eric Berry from injury...
The Browns didn't take part in the post season as a team once again.
However, six of their players did as the Browns sent six players to the Pro Bowl and they represented the Browns well. In fact, the Browns accounted for two of the six touchdowns.
Tight end Jordan Cameron scored the go ahead touchdown with 4:41 to play on a 12-yard pass from Nick Foles to give Team Sanders to...
