The Eagles, already without Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy, will be without DeSean Jackson for the remainder of the season. The speedster fractured his ribs on MNF against the Panthers and was placed on IR earlier today. As odd as this sounds, this may help fantasy owners. You are no longer tied to playing (or rostering for that matter) the struggling wideout. That being said, his replacement (Riley Cooper or Damarius Johnson) are not going to be useful fantasy assets withNick Foles under center. If you’re looking for some sneaky fill ins: Davone Bess, Chris Givens, or Ryan Broyles.

Eagles' Jackson done for season

DeSean Jackson is the latest casualty of an abysmal season in Philly after he suffered multiple broken ribs in the loss to Carolina and was placed on IR.

Eagles WR Jackson has fractured ribs

The Philadelphia Eagles will place wide receiver DeSean Jackson on injured reserve after he sustained multiple rib fractures in Monday night's loss to Carolina. Jackson leads the team with 45 catches and 700 yards receiving, but has only two touchdowns. Coach Andy Reid says the injury could take six weeks to heal. Reid says running back LeSean McCoy remains in phase one of...

Eagles Place WR DeSean Jackson On IR

The Philadelphia Eagles have placed WR DeSean Jackson on season-ending injured reserve after he suffered a few fractured ribs during Monday night’s loss to the Carolina Panthers, per Reuben Frank. As if things couldn’t get any worse for Andy Reid and company, they now lose Jackson who is just one year into a five year contract. Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy are dealing with...

Week 13 Pass Defense: I’m Sorry Mr. Jackson

For many leagues, this is the final week before the playoffs.  With bye weeks behind us and the end of the season in sight, matchups have never been more important. Sure, The Titans may not have been able to fully take advantage of The Jaguars awful pass defense, but The Bills should have a much easier time making plays which puts Steve Johnson on my own personal must start list...

Eagles Injury Report: Michael Vick, LeSean McCoy, DeSean Jackson

The Philadelphia Eagles were without quarterback Michael Vick and running back LeSean McCoy last night against the Carolina Panthers, while wide receiver DeSean Jackson and defensive tackle Fletcher Cox sustained injuries during the team’s loss, reports Greg Rosenthal of NFL.com. Wide receiver DeSean Jackson suffered a rib cartilage injury against the Eagles, and rookie...

LeSean McCoy Unlikely To Play In Week 13

Jeff McLane tweets that Eagles RB LeSean McCoy is in fact progressing from the concussion that he sustained against Washington two weeks ago, but is still unlikely to be back in time to play against the Cowboys this weekend. There is still time for him to return to practice before this weekend’s game, but the Eagles probably do not want to rush their star running back when Bryce...

Week 12 NFL Mega-Review

Resident Australian on TSHQ James Caughlin is in complete control over which writer gets which games to recap each and every week. And he’s done a bang up job of keeping the schedule fair and balanced. Some weeks you may get a ton of great games to recap. Other weeks you are not as fortunate. This was one of my less fortunate weeks. Rather than sit here and create four different...

Michael Vick Still Not Medically Cleared

Eagles head coach Andy Reid mentioned that QB Michael Vick still hasn’t been cleared from a concussion that he suffered a few weeks ago. “If the young guys are available to play, we’re going to put them in and play them,” Reid said. “If that’s the situation, I’m not going to hesitate to do that. But we’ll see how things go here as we continue to roll on.” Vick...

Monday Night Football: Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles Preview and Prediction

Monday Night Football will feature a game that few outside of Carolina and Philadelphia will care about tonight. The 2-8 Panthers head to Philly to take on the 3-7 Eagles. Both teams have clearly struggled all season, so it will be interesting to see which team steps up in this game. The Eagles aren’t looking too good, as Andy Reid is on the verge of getting fired and Michael Vick...

Eagles make Panthers look like favorites

With a rookie quarterback and a running back making his first start since high school, the Philadelphia Eagles will try for their first win in two months. No wonder even the Carolina Panthers (2-8) are favored on the road. The struggling Eagles (3-7) have lost six straight games entering Monday night's matchup against Cam Newton and the Panthers. They won't have Michael...

Rotowire Injury Analysis: Fantasy Football Week 12

It’s time for the Week 12 Injury report as we get close to playoff time and each spot in your lineup could mean the difference between making a run for your league’s title and sitting on the couch watching the rest of the games from home. Matt Forte: Forte left last week’s game after suffering an ankle injury to the same right ankle he injured earlier in the season forcing...

Fantasy Week 13 Waiver Wire

With most playoffs beginning this week or the next, your week 13 fantasy football picks could be key. Bryce Brown, RB, Philadelphia Eagles: His 178-yard, two-touchdown debut was magic for several owners who needed a Monday night miracle, but take note that Brown’s role will be reduced once LeSean McCoy returns from a concussion suffered…
