The saying is ‘One bad apple doesn’t ruin the bunch,’ but tell that to the media. As the Aaron Hernandez saga continues to unfold, Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant has become a media target and rightfully so he’s pissed off. Bryant has had his share of problems in the past, but the Cowboys have been raving far before the Hernandez story came out about how well he was doing. Bryant took exception of a story from former NFL scout Bryan Broaddus, who during a radio interview with 105.3 FM, Broaddus said Bryant’s background was “the worst I had ever seen.” Bryant posted on his Twitter account: “I just wanted to know why is my background relevant right now? I promise there is more s— to talk about in this world than my background.” Bryant made an appearance at an indoor football game in New Mexico last night and Bryant insisted he wasn’t going to talk about it. “No questions about the past, none,” Bryant said, via Mark Smith of the Albuquerque Journal.

Morris Claiborne: Monte Kiffin jumps around like he’s “27 years old”

Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett feels like cornerback Morris Claiborne has learned a lot since last season. “I think he’s much further along than when he showed up here last year,” Garrett said last month after the Cowboys ended their OTAs, via TheTownTalk.com. “He’s a good football player, very talented. Like with all rookies, there’s a lot to learn when you...

Cowboys expected to sign Sean Lee to an extension before the upcoming season

Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas.com expects the Cowboys to sign linebacker Sean Lee to an extension before the start of the upcoming season.  Look for Lee to get a long-term contract extension before the beginning of the season. The Cowboys are looking for him to be a leader of this defense for a long time. Lee is certainly a talented player, but if I were the Cowboys I would wait until...

Dallas Cowboys Position Outlook: Running Back

Murray (29)- Courtesy of ibtimes.com The Cowboys will open the 2013 season in the backfield with the duo of DeMarco Murray and Joseph Randle to carry the load on the ground. Murray will play the feature act, with the rookie, Randle, playing second fiddle. The running game must improve for the Cowboys to become an immediate contender. The running attack finished ranked 31st in the...

Dez Bryant is tired of talking about his past, I am tired too

credit: getty images I am so tired of hearing about the past of Dez Bryant. The past of the former first round pick of the Dallas Cowboys has received a lot of attention during his NFL career and Bryant has not always done the best job of staying out of news. Bryant also shares my dislike about hearing about his past regularly. “I just wanted to know why is my background relevant...

Pearson predicts 'all-Texas Super Bowl' this season

Former Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver Drew Pearson is very optimistic about the upcoming Cowboys season. The Ring of Honor member and three-time Pro Bowler predicted Tuesday that his former team will win 11 games in 2013. And Pearson didn't stop there. The Cowboys haven't reached the playoffs since 2009 and have only one postseason victory since 1996, but The Original...

Dallas Cowboys’ Receiver Stands 5′ 8″ But Can Dunk With Ease

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley is not the tallest player on the 53-man roster in Dallas, in fact he is the smallest. But the undersized slot receiver can jump as good as anyone else on the team. The evidence comes in the form of him throwing down a few dunks with ease. Hops for days. Report: Terrell Owens pays off 430,000 tax debt

Cowboys little WR Cole Beasley is a white man that can jump

Dallas Cowboys fan site DCfanatic.com shared this little video of receiver Cole Beasley (you might remember him as the guy throwing up on the sidelines during a preseason game in 2012) getting his reverse windmill dunk on. At 5′ 8″, Cole has amazing ups for his size:

Video: Cowboy’s 5’8” wide receiver Cole Beasley throwing down some windmill dunks

Tweet Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley doesn’t look that intimidating on the football field. Standing just 5’8” and weighing only 180 pounds, his stature isn’t one that really screams elite athlete. Beasley caught just 15 passes in his rookie season last year for only 128 yards. However, this video of him throwing down some [...]

Dez Bryant displeased to be included in Hernandez discussions

Dez Bryant isn't happy that people are talking about his background. But he should be. Bryant's unpleasant upbringing came up recently in a radio interview regarding former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, who was charged with murder. The discussion was about whether NFL teams should be wary of draft prospects who come from rough backgrounds. Bryant's...

What Dez Bryant Celebrates the 4th

Big Buck Bunny I’m not really sure what’s going on here, but I could care less as long as he goes off on the field. Dez Bryant Hangs With D12 Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley – 5 foot 8 – Reverse Wind Mill Dunk

Cowboys WR has mad dunking skills

If you were to guess a Dallas Cowboys receiver who could throw down in a game of basketball it is unlikely that Cole Beasley would be your first guess. Maybe it should have been. At 5’8″ the 24-year-old out of Southern Methodist can dunk a basketball with a mean reverse. Beasley joined the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2012 and caught 15 passes for 128 yards.

Let’s Celebrate Brooke Hogan’s Engagement To Dallas Cowboys Center Phil Costa

I’m a few days late to the celebration, but as my parole officer always tells me – it’s better late than never. Dallas Cowboys center Phil Costa proposed to Impact wrestling personality and aspiring country singer Brooke Hogan, who is also, of course, the daughter of wrestling legend and breastaurant owner Hulk Hogan. In the truest sense of the word romance, Costa dropped to...
