I am so tired of hearing about the past of Dez Bryant. The past of the former first round pick of the Dallas Cowboys has received a lot of attention during his NFL career and Bryant has not always done the best job of staying out of news.
Bryant also shares my dislike about hearing about his past regularly.
“I just wanted to know why is my background relevant right now? I promise there is more [expletive] to talk about in this world than my background.” tweeted Bryant’s Twitter account on Monday.
Could not agree more especially since Bryant is coming off his best season and has been out of the news this offseason. Bryant caught 92 catches for 1,382 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Former Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl wide receiver Drew Pearson hasn't always been a Dez Bryant fan.
As recently as last October, the original No. 88 was criticizing the current No. 88 for not living up to the expectations of the number that was also worn by Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Irvin.
But Pearson seems to be buying in to the success Bryant had during the second half...

Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas.com expects the Cowboys to sign linebacker Sean Lee to an extension before the start of the upcoming season.

Former Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver Drew Pearson is very optimistic about the upcoming Cowboys season. The Ring of Honor member and three-time Pro Bowler predicted Tuesday that his former team will win 11 games in 2013.
And Pearson didn't stop there. The Cowboys haven't reached the playoffs since 2009 and have only one postseason victory since 1996, but The Original...
The saying is ‘One bad apple doesn’t ruin the bunch,’ but tell that to the media.
As the Aaron Hernandez saga continues to unfold, Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant has become a media target and rightfully so he’s pissed off.
Bryant has had his share of problems in the past, but the Cowboys have been raving far before the Hernandez story came out about how well he was doing...
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley is not the tallest player on the 53-man roster in Dallas, in fact he is the smallest. But the undersized slot receiver can jump as good as anyone else on the team. The evidence comes in the form of him throwing down a few dunks with ease. Hops for days. Tweet Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley doesn’t look that intimidating on the football field. Standing just 5’8” and weighing only 180 pounds, his stature isn’t one that really screams elite athlete. Beasley caught just 15 passes in his rookie season last year for only 128 yards. However, this video of him throwing down some [...]
If you were to guess a Dallas Cowboys receiver who could throw down in a game of basketball it is unlikely that Cole Beasley would be your first guess.
Maybe it should have been.
At 5’8″ the 24-year-old out of Southern Methodist can dunk a basketball with a mean reverse.
Beasley joined the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2012 and caught 15 passes for 128 yards.
