You better believe Peyton Hillis made a giant mistake as a Cleveland Brown. Hillis left his teammates hanging when the Browns were only hours from kickoff against the Miami Dolphins. Hillis came out today and said he doesn’t know if he could even sign a long term contract with the Cleveland Browns. Hillis is thinking his days in a Browns uniform could very well be over. I think it is a shame that his agent would convince Hillis not to play in the game. Hillis was placing his trust in someone who is probably looking out after his bottom line more so than his clients.
True Hillis was sick. How many times have you ever heard of a football player missing a game in the NFL because he had a sore throat? If Hillis had it to do all over again I think he would play in the game. Peyton Hillis must feel like one of the loneliest people in Cleveland right about now.
