The biggest news out of Buffalo this week was the re-signing of free agent wide receiver Stevie Johnson. At five years for $36.25 million, including $19 million guaranteed, the Bills have their guy. In years past, this was the kind of negotiation that the Bills seem to always mess up. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was so excited about the news that he had the words “He’s Back” shaved onto his head.
Since the Bills seem willing to spend money and general manager Buddy Nix has said Buffalo can, and will, spend to the salary cap this offseason, many are thinking that the plan to upgrade the pass rush won’t be from the draft, but via free agency. One player undoubtedly on Buffalo’s radar would be Houston Texans free agent defensive end/linebacker Mario Williams.
And Peyton watch is officially under way. With the news conference just having finished up declaring the end of the Manning era in Indianapolis, he is officially on the market and Miami ...

A hidden gem can be described as something that shines but was hidden underneath and is unable to show its shiny coat until found. Once upon a time it was Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick who was that hidden gem as he sat underneath Trent Edwards and a struggling Buffalo offense.
As the former draft pick of the St. Louis Rams comes out to shine, many will quickly jump...

The Buffalo Bills retained another key member of their receiving attack before the start of free agency after tight end Scott Chandler agreed to a two-year contract on Thursday.
The Bills announced the deal had been reached, while Chandler's agent, Rick E. Smith, provided the length of the contract in an e-mail to The Associated Press.
Chandler announced the deal himself on...
Another Bill is coming back home. About a half hour ago, Scott Chandler tweeted the following: “Reunited and it feels so good!!! Blessed to be back with the Bills! Nowhere else I want to be!” The news will come with joy from Bills fans as the team has managed to keep another one of their key free agents. With the Stevie Johnson signing and now the Chandler signing, the Bills...
Retired NFL safety Coy Wire says he was part of a small group of Buffalo Bills players who pooled money and rewarded themselves for hurting opponents during his rookie season in 2002.
Though the Bills were coached by Gregg Williams then, Wire told The Associated Press on Thursday the ''pay-for-play pool'' was solely player-driven. Wire says he was wrong and crossed...
The Buffalo Bills and Wide Receiver Stevie Johnson agreed on a five-year contract worth $36 million that includes $19.5 million in guarantees. Johnson was a 7th round pick in 2008 and became a starter in 2010.
Johnson was the Bills most productive option in the passing game the last two seasons and should remain a solid WR2 in Fantasy Football this upcoming season.
It's no secret in Buffalo that the Bills' pass rush was virtually non-existent in 2011. Though they had a monster game north of the border when they played the Redskins in Toronto, grabbing 9 sacks and blocking a field goal en route to a 23-0 shutout, that was pretty much the highlight of an otherwise dreadful season for Buffalo's defensive line.
To be fair, losing...
If you hadn’t seen in the last few days, Bills WR Stevie Johnson signed a fat new 5-year contract with the Buffalo Bills yesterday. Personally, I think this was the best thing that could have happened for both parties, as Stevie is a top-notch wide reciever and the Bills were definitely in need of one.
First, I’ll talk from the perspective of a non-fan. The deal is worth $36...
- WWE Champion CM Punk spoke with the Toucher & Rich show in Boston earlier this week. Punk was asked about his “Twitter wars” with Chris Brown and Shawne Merriman.
“They’re not Twitter wars. They’re not. The Merriman thing isn’t even anything. That dates back a couple of years now. We were in Costa Rica, there was a bunch of us lounging around a pool. I think it...
