Chargers Post:
Now that Bob Sanders if officially on board, the San Diego Chargers have to decide whether or not to try and bring back Eric Weddle. Once a new Collective Bargaining Agreement is in place, Weddle will become one of the hottest unrestricted free agents on the market and he’s already indicated his desire to return to San Diego next season–but that doesn’t mean things will work out so easily.
According to Kevin Acee of SignOnSanDiego.com, Weddle’s agent, David Canter, is upset with the effort from the Chargers to discuss a new deal–so much that he claims to be “baffled” by the situation. The funny thing is, Chargers general manager A.J. Smith claims the two sides have talked briefly about Weddle’s future–so it should be interesting to see how this turns out in San Diego.
