Happy Halloween one week early, and it certainly was no Thriller.

It's 15-13 and the Broncos are going for two. Is there anyone in the stadium and watching on TV that knows that a Tebow run is coming? Apparently Mike Nolan and Coach Sparano did not.

At least that's what Kendall Langford said in the Palm Beach Post yesterday. Check out the link below:

http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/thedailydolphin/2011/10/25/why-were-the-miami-dolphins-in-a-nickel-defense-on-tim-tebows-2-point-conversion/

As so what this Finatic thought LAST WEEK was the absolute bottom of the 2011 Dolphins' barrel with the embarassing 24-6 loss to the Jets on Monday night, a new chasm has opened up this week as a result of the collapse that everyone is talking about against the Broncos last Sunday.

And now it looks like the players were in the wrong defense for the two-point conversion. So after only 6 games, self-preservation is kicking in and fingers are now getting pointed. Not good, or is it?

I had just about guaranteed a win against the Broncos last Sunday. There was so many factors and intangibles that leaned toward the Dolphins. Tebow's first full NFL start, honoring the Florida Gators and filling the stadium with number 15 jerseys, which should have fired up and angered the Miami players as a front office slap in the face, and a great Miami Hurricanes win the night before, which screamed for a great Miami sports weekend.

Like Otto in "A Fish Called Wanda", DisappOINT-ED!.

So you have to question the coaching on this one. Here's another head scratcher. When we scored our only touchdown of the day to go up 12-0, why did we go for two? Think about it, if we kick the extra point and then later get the same field goal, we are up 16-0 and the miraculous comeback becomes a little more difficult.

Coaching.

And not to beat a dead horse, but why so many dropped passes in the Jets game? During the bye week, did the team have any night practices to get the player used to the lights? Maybe they did, but they needed more.

Coaching.

On the bright side, it was actually good to see Matt Moore looking for other receivers besides Brandon Marshall, although in reality it was still Moore's inexperience that allowed a Bronco to chop his arm and cause a fumble in overtime that cost us the game.

So what if anything can save this team and the coaches?

The only answer is to throw out the playbook they have been using for the first 6 weeks and start to get more creative. Fire the Offensive Coordinator to send a message. The NY Giants are licking their chops at a "weak opponent" and the only hope that we have is a solid defense and some new surprise plays for the offense. Somehow we need to get Reggie Bush more involved since he has opened his mouth for more than Pizza Hut and called out the team and is crying out to take the load. If Kendall Langford is ready to point fingers at the coaches, let's let the players audible out of a bad formation and do what they think is successful. If this team is full of seasoned veterans as Coach Sparano points out, it's time for the coaches to get a real leader on that field that will make good decisions.

No more talk, no more excuses.

Let's give the above a shot and watch what happens.

With all of my heart this week, GO DOLPHINS!

But truly this season, it's time to dust off the old Hootie & the Blowfish CD as the Dolphins Make Me Cry., and Sun Life seems to be a big Haunted House this week.
