The Miami Dolphins were awarded wide receiver Armon Binns after the team claimed him off waivers from the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday.
Binns, who went undrafted in 2011, had a promising start with the Bengals in 2012, but his production has since tailed off.
He caught 12 passes for 157 yards and touchdown through the first three games, but has recorded just six catches for 53 yards in the past five contests.
In a corresponding roster move, the Dolphins released cornerback Michael Coe. Source: Sports Network Attached Thumbnails

Bengals' Mike Zimmer isn't listening to the head coach chatter anymore
Always a bridesmaid, never a bride is the old saying and Mike Zimmer has been standing on the side for a while now. Zimmer joined the Dallas Cowboys in 1994 as an assistant coach of the nickel defense under Barry Switzer. He was promoted to defensive backs coach in 1995 and served in that capacity before being promoted to defensive coordinator in 2000. The 2003 Cowboys defense...
Bengals DE Michael Johnson Misses Second Straight Practice
Bengals defensive end Michael Johnson wasn't on the field during the start of Tuesday's practice, raising questions if he'll be ready against the Philadelphia Eagles during NFL Network's Thursday Night Football. Johnson appeared to have hurt his toe against the Dallas Cowboys, but gutted it out.
Cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick was also out during practice, still dealing...
What they are saying around the web
Tough loss for the Bengals. They had the Cowboys beat. This game was not lost because of bad officiating (although there was some) or being outplayed. It was lost because the Bengals failed to play a good game. They dropped passes, failed to execute and the defense got beat when they needed stops the most.
Peter King did approach the subject of the hit Reggie Nelson laid on Dez Bryant...
Bengals Justifiably Upset After Horrible Call on Reggie Nelson Once Again Exposes Officiating Inconsistencies
The Dallas Cowboys were facing a crucial third-and-20 on Sunday afternoon against the Cincinnati Bengals. They were trailing the Bengals 19-10 late in the third quarter, looking at a seemingly insurmountable third-and-long.
However, the Cowboys looked to have overcome those odds to get a drive-prolonging first down. Quarterback Tony Romo dropped a perfect pass into the hands of Dez...
Slumping Dolphins again headed in wrong direction
From the start of his first year as coach of the Miami Dolphins, Joe Philbin stressed the need for steady improvement. Instead, a late-season tailspin has the team headed yet again in the wrong direction - toward a long offseason.
The Dolphins (5-8) have lost five of their past six games, ensuring that for a fourth consecutive year they'll finish .500 or worse. Going into its...
Bengals DE Michael Johnson Injures Right Foot, Questionable To Return
The Bengals have suffered some odd injuries today against the Cowboys in a variety of different ways. One such play was when quarterback Tony Romo appeared to have been sacked by Bengals defensive end Michael Johnson and Carlos Dunlap late in the second quarter. Jim Kiick a now Giants fan but Shula feud over

Frank Gore Wears Sweatshirt With Dead Miami Dolphin on It After 49ers Crush Dolphins (Photo)
Yeah, that would be how to rub it in.
Frank Gore notched his sixth season with 1,000 or more rushing yards Sunday, and he also piled up 63 yards rushing and 22 yards receiving plus a touchdown to lead the 49ers past the Dolphins 27-13.
But if he and his team’s dominance weren’t conveyed well enough by his stat line and the scoreboard, Gore’s getup after the game certainly told...
