The Miami Dolphins (4-3) beat the New York Jets (3-5) 30-9, today at MetLife Stadium from East Rutherford, NJ. What an embarrassing showing from the Jets all-around. They got their rear-ends kicked from beginning to end by the Dolphins. There was no energy in the building, even though Jets fans were chanting for Tim Tebow's name when Mark Sanchez was struggling. Don't blame "Hurricane Sandy" on the loss. Blame Rex Ryan who coached an awful ballgame. He had no answers against the Dolphins. They sure could use their bye next week and focus on trying to improve the passing game, pass rush and you name it. Game Stats: Passing Mark Sanchez was getting booed all day by the Jets fans and there is a chance he might lose his starting job, but not until next year. He went 28 for 54 with 283 passing yards, one touchdown pass and turn the ball over twice. Rushing Shonn Greene didn't have any impact on the game, even though he had 15 carries for 77 rushing yards. Tim Tebow didn't do to much has he only had 1 carrie for 2 rushing yards. Receiving Clyde Gates had his best game of his career by catching 7 passes for 82 receiving yards. Dustin Keller caught 7 passes for 67 yards. Jeremy Kerley caught 5 passes for 43 yards. Chaz Schilens scored his first TD as a Jet and overall he had 4 catches for 29 receiving yards. Special Teams Nick Folk went 1 for 2 on field goals. Robert Malone punt got blocked early in the game when Tim Tebow who plays on special teams missed a block on Oliver Vernon who blocked the punt and recovered the ball for a touchdown. Defense Yeremiah Bell recovered a fumble from Reggie Bush. Calvin Pace and Bryan Thomas both had one sack each. Team Stats The Jets offense had 22 first downs, 363 total yards, went 5 for 17 on 3rd down conversions and a lot of missed chances. The Jets defense allowed 14 first downs, 236 total yards, made the Dolphins go 4 for 13 on 3rd down conversions and allowed Miami to score 23 points. Final Thoughts All the trash talking from the Jets team means zero after they got there rear-ends kicked all over the place by the Dolphins. A lot of Jets fans at the end of the game wanted Tim Tebow to play quarterback instead of Mark Sanchez, but they didn't get their wish. I don't see the harm why they should play him at quarterback in the 2nd half. Mark Sanchez wasn't getting the job done. Period. In all honesty, I believe the Jets has to an end unless they prove me wrong which is going to be unlikely. Week 10 (Nov 11th) - The New York Jets will play the Seattle Seahawks Sunday afternoon in Century Link Field at 4:05 pm on CBS (TV) and WEPN (Radio).

Chaz Schilens: “Chants for Tebow are B.S.”

Where Do They Go From Here?

Home on Long Island, shacked up in the storm: No one can say there was zero chance that the Jets would rest in the position they are in heading into the Bye week.  When evaluating the team before the season started, like most teams, there were a laundry list of problems that either didn't get addressed, or would have to be covered up by other areas exceeding expectations.To...

Everybody Knows: New York Jets & Dallas Cowboys All Bark No Bite

I’d rather listen to the New York Jets talk than watch them play football. At least their press conferences are interesting. I fear that the Jets idea of offensive rhythm is to curse loudly while listening to “The Super Bowl Shuffle”. Much of the focus has been on the inability of the Jet’s brain-trust to figure out how to utilize Tim Tebow. Calls for Rex Ryan to bench...
