The Miami Dolphins aren’t being shy in their support for running back Lamar Miller. They have virtually cast off incumbent Reggie Bush, and 2011 second round pick Daniel Thomas has already been deemed the backup. According to Omar Kelly of the Sun-Sentinel, Miller is the guy who the Dolphins will ride with. Miller was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 4th round of the 2012 NFL Draft, 97th overall. As the Dolphins continue to develop their zone blocking scheme, they need a runner who can see the backside and cut his run across the blocking. Bush is more of a make you miss back, Thomas more straight line runner, and neither are good fits for the scheme. Miller has the vision and feet the stop, make one cut and head up field, or cut back and run to the backside.
