Inside the Bills:
With Jake Long questionable for Sunday’s game with the Bills, Miami interim head coach Todd Bowles had to leave a lot up in the air as far as his left tackle position goes.
“He practiced some,” said Bowles of Long, who was limited in practice Friday. ”Right now he’s questionable. We’ll see how he feels on the plane ride. Kind of go from there.”
When asked if Long was limited more to rest him for Sunday’s game, Bowles indicated that he wasn’t.
“No. Jake’s a warrior,” Bowles said. ”He wants to play and if he can play and if he’s healthy he will.”
Long suffered a back injury in last Sunday’s game. Last weekend he was replaced by Nate Garner, but this week John Jerry has been his replacement in practice. Jerry is a guard by trade and was lined up at right guard last week to replace starting RG Vernon Carey, who left the game with an ankle injury and is questionable this week.

Die-hard Dolphins fans Chris Joseph and Roger Paul aren’t happy that owner Stephen Ross fired coach Tony Sparano this week yet opted to keep general manager Jeff Ireland. The two came to Miami together, they figure, and both should be held equally responsible. Obviously, Ross isn’t asking for their opinion. So on Jan. 1 against [...]
J.P. Losman is familiar enough with Buffalo Bills fans to not make any predictions regarding what reception he might get should the Miami Dolphins backup quarterback start against his former team this weekend.
Whether he gets booed or cheered, Losman says he'll ''laugh it off.''
Losman heard both - and often in the same game - during a mercurial five-year career...

Dolphins QB Matt Moore has been cleared of concussion-like symptoms and will start on Sunday against the Bills.

“A source said he has been cleared of his concussion-like symptoms and he will start for the Dolphins versus the Bills Sunday. Moore is obviously under that impression because...

Thursday, saying he would love to see former Steelers coach Bill
Cowher take the job, but doubted it would happen.
After this disappointing and trouble-filled year is over, there will be wonderful opportunities waiting for the Dolphins if only they can, after nearly a decade of failing, finally string together two or three good decisions.
---Rookie cornerback Aaron Williams, who missed the San Diego game with a calf injury, practiced fully today and is expected to start on Sunday when the Bills host the Miami Dolphins.
