If you have a friend or relative that is a Lions fan, I wouldn’t buy them the 2013 Lions calendar from Turner. However, if you really want to make that friend or relative mad, then go ahead and buy that calendar because it’s really a terrible one. What makes it terrible? Here are a list of things courtesy of Justin Rogers of MLive.com: 1. Titus Young is on the cover, a wide receiver with two years of NFL experience, who has been sent home for the rest of the season for basically being a moron. The Lions have three very popular and well-known players in Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson, and Ndamukong Suh, but this company decides to put Titus Young on the cover of the calendar? Pathetic. 2. The first month you open to, January, features Aaron Berry, a cornerback who got cut by the Lions in July for getting arrested twice. Wow. 3. In other months throughout the calendar, players like Jahvid Best, Nate Burleson, and Kyle Vanden Boesch are featured. Best’s career might be over because ...

Lions place Titus Young on Injuried Reserve

The Detroit Lions are done with Titus Young. Today the Lions placed the 23-year-old wide receiver on injured reserve ending his season.
