Crennel stupefied by Charles' usage
The Chiefs coach doesn't call the plays on offense in KC so, like fans, he also doesn't get why they only handed the ball to their best weapon five times during Sunday's loss.
At 1-6, laugh at Chiefs to keep from crying
KANSAS CITY, Mo. There comes a point where you have two choices: You can either storm the gates with torches in hand, or throw up your arms, laugh and walk away. Clark Hunt will be a rich man regardless. Whether you're riding shotgun or not, the clown car rides on.

Fans of The Kansas City Chiefs Don’t Seem To Love Their GM
This is the second time that we have seen an airplane flying over Arrowhead Stadium calling for the firing of Chiefs GM Scott Pioli, and yet it never gets old. If you haven’t read this piece on ESPN by Jeffri Chadiha you are missing out. Come to your own conclusion, but it is safe to say that Mr. Pioli is not loved by all.

Brady Quinn Expected To Remain Chiefs Starting QB, Status For Week 9 In Doubt
Chiefs HC Romeo Crennel told reporters that Brady Quinn will be the team’s starting quarterback as long as he’s healthy, via the Kansas City Star.
Matt Cassel looks like the better of the two, but that is still not saying a whole lot.

He was replaced by Matt Cassel, who had been the starter until he was injured a few weeks ago. Cassel was deemed healthy enough to play this week, but coach Romeo Crennel named Quinn...
Chiefs Coach Unsure Why Jamaal Charles Got Only Five Carries
It’s highly laughable when a team has one of the premier talents in the league at running back, yet fails to use him at all during a game.
That’s exactly what happened to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon against the Oakland Raiders, when the team’s extremely talented running back Jamaal Charles only received five carries in the loss.
Yes, I repeat, only five carries...
Chiefs Unlikely To Be Able To Trade Away WR Dwayne Bowe
As much as the Chiefs might want to trade Dwayne Bowe, knowing he probably is landing elsewhere as a free agent, a deal isnt likely for a few reasons. One, another team isnt likely to trade for Bowe without knowing if hell sign a long-term extension, and that lowers the price on what the market will bear. Two, the Chiefs have no other reliable receivers. Scott Pioli and Romeo...

Romeo Crennel had no idea why Jamaal Charles only got five carries
In seven words, Romeo Crennel explained why the Kansas City Chiefs are so bad this year.
Asked after Sunday’s 26-16 loss to the Oakland Raiders why stud running back Jamaal Charles only got five carries, the Chiefs head coach seemed perplexed.
“Now, that I’m not exactly sure, either,” Crennel said, per Associated Press writer Dave Skretta.
Yeah, Romeo, that’s a question...
Raiders 26, Chiefs 16
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- One of pro football's most intense rivalries has disintegrated into a one-sided affair. The Oakland Raiders recorded their sixth consecutive win at Arrowhead Stadium, and their seventh victory in 10 games overall against the Kansas City Chiefs, by taking a 26-16 decision Sunday. In addition to losing the game, the Chiefs also lost new quarterback Brady...
The Future Starts Now
The Kansas City Chiefs are bad. Let’s get that out of the way first. This team has not had a lead in regulation once all season. The only lead the Chiefs had was when they kicked the field goal to beat the New Orleans Saints. Instead of dwelling on how terrible this team is, it is time to look to the future. With any future in the NFL that means what are we going to do...
