Why do they say what they say? Do football players just not know what is coming out of their mouths?I mean, Darrelle Revis gets traded to the Buccaneers and turns right around and says that the Jet's management lied to him about wanting to keep him on the team! Really? With all of the major moves going on the last few weeks, why does Revis think that he is the only one who fell casualty to "a business decision"? Maybe he missed the Wes Welker and Elvis Dumervil episodes. Surely he has been around long enough to have seen the business side of the NFL prevail over performance and loyalty.I have been criticized for promoting Tyrann Mathieu as a first round talent, mainly due to his character issues surrounding multiple drug related offenses. Does anybody think that he is the only one with this cloud following his every move? Why is nobody touting this reasoning in conjunction with Da'Rick Rogers?Alec Ogletree, Keenan Allen, Kiko Alonso, Baccari Rambo... all these guys,...

He no longer had to be coy, speak in coded language like, If we have an opportunity...
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers feel they've already had a strong draft.
Landing three-time All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis in exchange for the 13th overall pick of the first round not only addressed the team's biggest need, but offers general manager Mark Dominik and coach Greg Schiano some flexibility in the team's approach in later rounds.
The acquisition of Revis from...

10) If you know any Jets fans right now, please feel free to reach out and remind them that there is so much more to life than football

As the dust settles on the blockbuster Darrelle Revis trade, it's clear the All-Pro cornerback chased every penny of his historic $96 million contract with the Bucs.
Color Warren Sapp unsurprised.
The former Buccaneer and current NFL Network analyst slammed Revis for possessing a "selfish," me-first mentality, something Sapp was rarely privy to in Tampa.
Former Buccaneers defensive tackle Warren Sapp told The Tampa Tribune that Darrelle Revis is a selfish player for the way he’s held out for more money over the course of his career.
“He’s selfish and he’s never been a team player,” Sapp said. “We didn’t win the championship that way. Derrick Brooks and I always cared more about the team than ourselves.”
It only makes...
