PLAYERS: Drew Brees
TEAMS: New Orleans Saints
Getty Images According to Jeff Duncan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Saints quarterback Drew Brees stated on ESPN’s Outside the Lines that he doesn’t plan on missing this season even though he’s still waiting for a new long-term contract. “I’d never sit out the season,” Brees said. “I love the game too much.” I think it’s great that Brees doesn’t plan on sitting out the year in order to get the money he deserves, but now he just took away some of the leverage he had against the Saints. If the Saints want to they can now drag their feet on getting a new deal done and force Brees to sign the franchise tag if a new contract isn’t signed by July 16th.

  • if tom bennson doesn't do Brees right he hasn't seen anything from the fans as to what he will see.Baton Rouge was just a simple.Brees is a better man any day of the week,he will not let the fans down.I would hate to see him leave the Saints because they couldn't win until he and Payton come to town. The head office has already got rid of some of our best players.Fans should let bennson and his gang know how they feel write the paper, call the office do what ever to speak out for Brees.

Drew Brees Is A Hack – KSK Kontent Klearinghouse
