Chiefs Post:
Dwayne Bowe had a career year for Kansas City last season. Bowes production allowed Matt Cassel to mature and take that next step as a quarterback and if Cassel continues to succeed it will be because of Bowe.
Kansas City should resign Dwayne Bowe to a long term deal. It really would be foolish not to bring back Dwayne Bowe.
Unless Bowe leads the NFL in dropped passes while Jonathan Baldwin wins offensive rookie of the year you need to get Bowe signed to a long term deal.
That won’t happen which is why its really crucial to retain Bowe if your the Kansas City Chiefs. The pieces are in position for the Kansas City Chiefs to become a long term contender if Matt Cassel plays well, but bringing back Bowe is a key asset.
Bowe had a league best 15 receiving touchdowns for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2010. He probably won’t match those numbers in #2011 because the Chiefs drafted Baldwin in round 1, but I could see Bowe getting 1200 receiving yards and 11 to 12 receiving touch...
