PLAYERS: Pat Tillman
TEAMS: Arizona Cardinals
The legend of Pat Tillman has extended into the virtual world. In a special offering by EA Sports, Madden NFL 13 users will be able to add the former Cardinals safety within Ultimate Team mode. The announcement was made Friday on EA Sports' Facebook page, and Tillman's inclusion into the game is supported by his foundation. Tillman, who famously turned down a multimillion dollar offer to enlist in the Army in 2002, was killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan two years later. He last appeared in the Madden series from 1998-2001. The process of acquiring Tillman is fairly simple for gamers. Just 40 Madden coins via the Card Deals menu gets you the 85-rated strong safety, with a 99-rated version also available in the Legendary packs. Amid all of the sadness surrounding Tillman's untimely death, this was a simple yet commendable gesture by the video game giant.

Cards make it clear: Time for Whisenhunt to go

Theres no sense belaboring this. Michael Bidwill should fire coach Ken Whisenhunt, and he should do it now. It will be an empty gesture. It will be a reactionary gesture, too. But you...

Are You There Larry? It’s Me, Vince.

Ken Whisenut's job status in question

Ken Whisenut is the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals. He is the coach of a team that just got demolished by an average Seahawks team 58-0, and has now lost nine in a row after winning their first four games. QB play has NFC West (except Cards) on rise

TEMPE, Ariz. Early Doucet remembers when achieving mediocrity gave you a good chance to win the NFC West. Since the Cardinals joined the division before the 2002 season, four of the 10 division winners have had a 9-7 record or worse -- capped by Seattles 7-9 mark in 2010 -- and only three division winners over that stretch have managed more than 10 wins. The NFC West hasnt produced...
