NFL Trade Rumors:
Geoff Mosher of CSN reports that the Philadelphia Eagles have interest in Dolphins free agent CB Sean Smith.
Mosher adds that their interest would only be at “their price.“
Smith is one of the more interesting free agents, as he offers plenty of size and could develop into a very solid player in the coming years. The problem is that he’s raw and some reports have mentioned that teams like the Dolphins are concerned about his commitment to progressing after signing a big contract.
He’s reportedly a candidate for the Dolphins franchise tag, but the odds are against him being tagged in the next few days. He’s believed to be targeting a deal that would include as much $24 million guaranteed.
The Eagles could really use some help at cornerback. There’s already been talk that Nnamdi Asomugha won’t be back next season unless he’s willing to take a pay cut and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie will be a free agent next month.

Nnamdi Asomugha – will he be here in 2013?
It’s about time.
The news from ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Friday morning was music to the ears of Philadelphia Eagles fans:
“@AdamSchefter: When two sides meet this am, Eagles will ask CB Nnamdi Asomugha to restructure contract or they will release him. Asomugha guaranteed $4mil.”
Fairly or unfairly, Asomugha has become the poster...
Changes in Philadelphia are officially underway.
The Eagles announced on Monday that they have released veteran defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins.
“I had a chance to speak with Cullen today and let him know of our decision,” GM Howie Roseman said, via PhillyMag.com. “It’s one of the most difficult parts of the job. He has been a very productive player in this league for...
One of the deepest NFL drafts in a long-time should be the catalyst for a major turnaround for the Miami Dolphins in 2013. While no one can agree on who’s the best player in this draft; they all agree that’s only because of how good this draft class is. That’s why we’re going to explore every pick the Dolphins have; minus the compensatory picks that will be announced in March...
Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush is likely done in Miami, as the team views him as more of a luxury than an integral part of the offense going forward, reports Ian Rapaport of NFL.com.
ESPN recently reported that Eagles cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha was asked to restructure his contract by his team. But the question is, will he do it?
Nobody knows exactly what thoughts are going through Asomugha’s head right now and as a result, let’s take a look at what could happen if he either takes the pay cut or doesn’t take it…
Philadelphia needs Asomugha...
NFLDraftI know Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said Michael Vick and Nick Foles will compete for the team’s starting quarterback job, but West Virginia quarterback prospect Geno Smith might have gotten the coach’s attention with his outstanding workout at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, yesterday. He stood out in his workout as...
Simply put the Eagles messed up. Nnamdi according to Pro Football Talk had to play 90% of the defense snaps in 2012 to guarantee $4 million of his $15 million 2013 salary. It was an automatic $4 million, so regardless if he is on the roster or not he would get that money.
The Eagles were out of playoff contention for a long time and it wasn’t like Nnamdi was playing well. They...
