The Philadelphia Eagles on Monday fired Tim McDermott, their senior vice president and chief marketing officer. The team released a statement that read: "Tim McDermott is no longer with the Philadelphia Eagles organization. Tim's departure was amicable, and the Eagles thank him for his work, value his past contributions, and wish him well in his future endeavors." McDermott was one of the top executives in the organization after owner Jeff Lurie and team president Don Smolenski in the team's executive structure. "The Eagles and I have parted on amicable terms," McDermott said in a statement. "I have nothing but good things to say about the Eagles and the people I worked with, and wish the team the best as I pursue some exciting opportunities." The 3-7 Philadelphia Eagles take on the 2-8 Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football in scintillating Week 12 action. I’m sure this “battle of the disappointments” isn’t what the schedule-makers had in mind when they put this on the calendar last spring.
It was supposed to Cam Newton, the rookie sensation in 2011, versus the resurgent Michael Vick. The Panthers appeared...
We found out Nick Foles will be the quarterback at least one more week.
DeSean Jackson could miss the rest of the season.
Jason Avant is better physically than Jackson, but still might be ready this week.
Danny Watkins was not even mentioned and the over and under on a drinking game called “I’ve got to do a beter job” hit the under.
Andy Reid said the same thing, but used different...

On Tuesday, the Philadelphia Eagles made a shocking move and announced the released defensive end Jason Babin.
A 32 year-old veteran, Babin (6-3, 267 lbs.) had a breakout season in 2010 as a member of the Titans defensive line and recorded 12.5 sacks. The next offseason, Babin signed with Philly and became a household name when he recorded...

The Philadelphia Eagles will place wide receiver DeSean Jackson
on injured reserve after he sustained multiple rib fractures in
Monday night's loss to Carolina.
Another week gone by and the Phillies have still won a game more recently than the Eagles have. The best would be if the Flyers won a game before the next time the Eagles did. And that’s with the NHL losing a full season to the lockout.
Not that Andy Reid had any chance of salvaging his job with a good performance in a prime time game against another team, but he couldn’t even...
PHILADELPHIA -- The Carolina Panthers struck for two long touchdown passes in the first half, and their defense came up with a crucial fourth-down stop in the fourth quarter of a 30-22 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night at Lincoln Financial Field. The Panthers (3-8) won despite a big day by Eagles rookie running back Bryce Brown, who rushed for 178 yards. However...
Let’s take a look back at some of the things that stood out from Week 12 in the National Football League! Robert Griffin III put on a Thanksgiving show that I’m sure we will be talking about for sometime.
