Just because Michael Vick Started the season under center for the Philadelphia Eagles does not mean that he will end it for them. The “C” word may be brewing in the City of Brotherly Love and may force Eagles head coach to seriously consider making a change at the team’s most important position.Nick Foles threw for three touchdowns and the Eagles defense held off a game Tampa Bay Buccaneers team looking for its first win of the season. The visiting team won 31-20 to get to .500 on the season. The “backup” second-year player from Arizona also ran for another score, having a hand in all the Eagles touchdowns on the day. Head coach Chip Kelly said this was just a part of the way his offense works in Philadelphia, which appears to be one that scores in droves as the game wears on."What we do offensively ... we don't change," Kelly said, on ESPN.com. "He did a really good job of spreading the ball around to different receivers. ... I told him to let it rip. That's what we told him to do, and he did it."If the Eagles continue to put points on the board in a quick-fire offense, this is a team that could get better as the year wears on. The Bucs looked poised to compete with their opponents with rookie Mike Glennon behind center and a defense that looked much better after a week off to prepare. Here is what we learned about Sunday’s game.Foles is the futureI wrote about this on Saturday. Next season, the Eagles will go to camp with Foles as the starter and Matt Barkley as the backup. The likelihood of Michael Vick being in green and silver next season is very slim. Foles threw three touchdowns like it was child’s play and looks to be agile on the move, perfect for Chip Kelly’s system in Philly.Mike Glennon played wellThere were times when rookie played like a rookie. That is to be expected when you are only in your second game of your career as a starter. But Glennon threw for 273 yards and two scores. He looked in command of this offense and showed he could play under pressure. His receivers bailed him out from time to time, but Glennon - if given the chance - can be a solid starter in this league. The Eagles offense took offNFL rushing leader LeSean McCoy gained 116 yards on 25 attempts, and Riley Cooper finished with four receptions for 120 yards. The transition from one quarterback to another seemed seamless and Philadelphia pulled away late for the win.Receiving help for GlennonAccording to ESPN.com’s story, Glennon, Threw touchdown passes of 1 and 24 yards to Vincent Jackson. who had nine catches for 114 yards, and Tim Wright had seven for 91 yards. Tampa Bay played without receiver Mike Williams, who was inactive with a sore hamstring.Nicks missedThe Bucs only gave up two sacks on the game and missed the presence of Carl Nicks in the lineup. Nicks was inactive from the game because of being diagnosed with MRSA earlier in the week. Nicks was one of three players who were diagnosed and treated for the staph infection that's resistant to many common antibiotics.
