In another miserable performance, the Philadelphia Eagles put together a year's worth of blunders fit for a football follies video. A 34-13 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night featured four fumbles, one interception and one punt blocked by a teammate. That brought the Eagles' turnovers total to an NFL-high 34 in 14 games. They've only forced 12. ''Turnovers destroy you in this league,'' coach Andy Reid said Friday, stating the obvious. ''If we didn't know it before, we know it now.'' Lucky for the Eagles (4-10) and their frustrated fans, only two games remain in this nightmare season. ''I was thoroughly embarrassed,'' wide receiver Jason Avant said after another loss in front of a national television audience. ''I don't care if there were no cameramen there or if we were playing over at the University of Penn. That type of thing that happened was embarrassing wherever you are, even if you...

What is With the Howie Roseman Hate and Anger at Jeff Lurie?

For weeks now, everywhere I turn I hear about how the Philadelphia Eagles should fire Howie Roseman along with Andy Reid and everyone else at season’s end.  I also hear a lot of people seemingly angry at Jeff Lurie for not coming out and addressing the media about the state of the franchise (or firing Reid before the end of the year). Just this morning, these two subjects were...

It's A Fummm Bulll... Today in his next-day press conference, Eagles Coach For Too Many Days That End In Y Andy Reid pointed out how turnovers killed his team in last night's game against Cincy, how you just can't have that, and how he takes complete responsibility for the team doing this, as if it were a new problem, rather than something that's been systemic. Girls Of The NFL: Week 15

Things are really starting to heat in the AFC playoff race. Cincinnati runs into Nick Foles and the Eagles tonight which might be a must win game if they want to stay alive. This is also a huge weekend for the NFC...
