Reuben Frank of CSNPhilly.com reports that OT King Dunlap has been named the Eagles starting left tackle.
Dunlap, a 7th round pick in 2008, has developed into a very capable starter for the Eagles and has displaced free agent pick up Demetress Bell, who so far has not played to his potential.
Bell was signed to a five-year deal worth $34.5 million back in April after three seasons with the Bills. Dunlap is a monstrous individual, but theres been some question about his overall ability. Philadelphia decision to sign Bell was designed to solidify the tackle position following the loss of Jason Peters for the season, but his inability to play up to the level of a starting tackle has to be concern for the team.
