The Eagles take the field at 8:00 PM looking to improve on a few things that they need to work on from last game. The starters will play for the entire first half which will be interesting to see. Tonight we see what many of our starters are made of, guys who had a bad game last game have a chance to show their true colors this game. Here are a few guys and improvements I would like to see in tonights game: Effective red-zone offense- With the starters playing more minutes I want to see more red-zone trips and td's. This would be a perfect time for the first team to work on a few touchdown plays that they have been working on in practice. Desean Jackson- The young man had a very nice debut as a WR and I am interested in watching how he continues to develop as a wr and I want to see him contribute more in the return game. Max Jean Gilles- He should take advantage of every start he gets with Andrews just getting back into the mix. He faired well in his last game and it will be nice to see how he continues his hard work from the practice field to a live game. He is a hard worker on the practice field and you can see the major development in this year from Max Jean. Jermome Mcdougle- I still cannot beleive i'm watching Mcdougle play the way he has this year. I am absolutely shell-shocked, and he has made beleiver out of me as far as making the team goes. Best beleive I will be paying close attention to him and I'm pulling for him. Asante Samuel- Did you forget about him? He has spent the last week or two nursing a hamstring, now he makes his pre-season debut as an Eagle and now we get to see this secondary really work with Samuel on one side Lito on the other, Sheldon playing nickel. Should be fun to watch. First team defense- The second team defense played much better on all phases of the game than the first team. I also did not like how we just gave up an easy score on the first drive. We need to fight harder than that, and I want to see this first team defense show its true colors tonight. Joe Mays- Wow. Talk about a rookie who is showing his true colors, Mays finished last weeks game with 6 tackles inparticular a jaw dropping hit on rookie Limas Sweed. Now we see if last week was a fluke or not. It's important Mays shows consistency and continues to have the coaching staff take a hard look at him. Who I want to see reddem himself? Ok I'm sure it was a bad a game but I want to see Dawkins redeem himself from last weeks game. I never saw Dawkins get burnt the way he did in a long time now even the best have tough games and maybe he just neeeded to knock off rust however, I want to see him play better today. So that's my player watch for tonight, feel free to share yours.
