Eagles QB Michael Vick was cleared to return by an independent league neurologist, but the signal caller won’t suit up against the Bengals, per Reuben Frank.
Eagles HC Andy Reid noted that Nick Foles would be the starter for Philadelphia the rest of the way no matter what happened with Vick, so it’s likely just a precaution keeping out Vick.
The Eagles will need a strong game from whoever is under center to take down the Bengals and Nick Foles has somewhat struggled as of late. Foles took over the quarterbacking duties for the Eagles after it was apparent that the team would not be competitive in 2012.
