According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Philadelphia Eagles have signed free agent tackle, Demetress Bell to a five-year deal.
Bell’s first name was spelled Demetrius, but supposedly it wasn’t spelled right. So it’s now officially Demetress, according to the Eagles.
With Jason Peters going down with a ruptured Achilles, the Eagles were forced to make a move for a veteran left tackle that can come in a start in 2012, since Peters’ return is in doubt for this coming season.
