Eagles Tabbing Ike?

While most sensible people (like me) are thinking the Eagles will go after premier cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, sources close to the team are saying they are looking at another guy, from much closer to home. Pittsburgh cornerback Ike Taylor is testing the open market and the Eagles could be his next spot. I can hear you guys now, saying that Ike is barely better than Joselio Hanson and we should keep Dimitri Patterson... Slow your roll, there. Ike Taylor is a hard-nosed cornerback who can still play at a high level. He could easily play the right corner spot across from Asante Samuel. He's not as fast as Nnamdi but he is as smart. Also keep in mind that Juan Castillo is going to implement the most defensive changes since Jim Johnson was first hired. This isn't the same defense at all, in fact, Adam Caplan of Foxsports.com hints that Castillo will play much more zone defense with a wider defensive line base.
