Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed just can't keep himself out of trouble this season. He was suspended for a game before winning his appeal and forking over $50K, and now the NFL has fined him $55K for his hit on New York Giants receiver Victor Cruz, according to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports. Reed and the team feared that Reed once again would face a suspension for the hit on a defenseless receiver, but the league opted to hit him hard again in the wallet. After the game vs. the Giants, Reed said “I don’t know what’s going to come of it; I had the referee whispering in my ear on the second play.  All I like to do is play the game.  I don’t really know what to do with it.  I don’t really know what to do with that.  I thought it was a decent hit.  He got up from it.” This is Reed's third fine of the defenseless receiver variety in 4 seasons.
