Whether you want to believe it or not, just know that there actually is a difference between right and left cornerback. As you move further back, there, too, is a difference between the free and strong safety. Strong safeties, for those of you unfamiliar with football lingo, is the safety playing on the strong side (duh). Okay, still don’t get it? Say the Patriots come out in a split receiver, I-formation set with Rob Gronkowski on the right side and – no, the Patriots don’t ever come out in this, we are just using this as a farfetched example.
