How big of a problem is Eli Manning for the Giants right now? It didn't seem like it at first, but Eli is becoming a huge reason why the Giants are 0-5. The Giants can no longer pretend that their quarterback is not costing them games. Now before everyone gets too angry, I know exactly how good Eli has been in the past and what he has meant to this team. I am talking only about the 5 games he has played so far this year for the Giants. This season has been a roller coaster of blame, but right now it sits squarely on the shoulders of Manning. There were turnovers galore to start the season, followed by an awful offensive line. Once those things were sorted out it became clear that something just isn't clicking with Manning this year. Against the Eagles, Manning threw three picks late in the game, but also was responsible for three costly intentional grounding penalties. Maybe it's the fact that with a lack of a running game and an awful off...

NY strip club no longer showing depressing Giants games

Could the New York Giants Go 0-16?

Despite their jaw-dropping struggles through the first quarter of the 2013 NFL regular season, the reeling New York Giants (0-5) entered Sunday’s must-win battle against the Philadelphia Eagles (2-3) with a glimmer of hope as they trailed the NFC East-leading Dallas Cowboys by just two games. That ray of optimism was still in the air when the G-Men rallied to take a 21-19 lead...

New York Giants: Is Eli Manning still elite?

A few years ago Eli Manning said to the world that he was an elite quarterback in the NFL. He said he was in the same class as Tom Brady. Later that year he led his team to a Super Bowl win with a (9-7) record. This year Eli Manning is leading the NFL in interceptions with 12. The two time Super Bowl MVP seems to be having the worst year of his career thus far. The most interception...

Eli Manning’s Pass Under Pressure Results in Ball Bouncing Off Center, Getting Picked Off (GIF)

Life hasn’t been easy for the New York Giants this season. Matching their worst start in a full season since 1979, the Big Blue fell to 0-5 on Sunday afternoon, with Eli Manning adding to his mounting turnover number in embarrassing fashion. The Giants were in good position to secure their first victory of the season, trailing only by one point late in the game, but three fourth...

We Got Next Level Eli Face

[via]Eli Manning threw another three interceptions on Sunday against the Eagles to give him 12 through five games. Oh, and it pushed the Giants to 0-5 on the season. Such a hothouse of failure is bound to produce new and exciting forms of Eli Face. These optimal conditions did not disappoint, as Eli unleashed the sour puss of a lifetime as time was ticking away.

Coughlin on Eli Manning: There were a couple of those plays that were terrible

Tom Coughlin has never been one to pull any punches and Eli Manning is well aware of that, after a 0-5 start I’m sure the Giants meeting rooms are not a pleasant place to be right now. “I honestly believe that he’s trying so hard to get us a win, he’s almost put too much on himself,” Coughlin said, via Gary Myers of the New York Daily News. “He keeps it all pretty much...

The New York Giants signed one of the best fullbacks in the NFL but don’t use him?

I am so confused, while Tom Coughlin wanted to blame people for the loss (Eli Manning). He might want to look in the mirror after yesterday’s performance against the Eagles. Coughlin and the New York Giants signed John Conner aka “The Terminator” a few weeks ago, but have still not found a way to get […]

Tom Couglin says stop blaming Eli for 0-5 record

Tom Coughlin wants everybody to stop blaming Eli Manning for the New York Giants' miserable start. Speaking in a conference call Monday after the Giants' record fell to 0-5 with a 36-21 loss to Philadelphia, Coughlin said the blame for the team's worst since 1987 should be directed toward him. Once money in the fourth quarter, Manning has struggled with the game on...

New York Giants Season Hits Rockbottom, Strip Club Refuses To Air Their Games

The New York Giants have been more frustrating than an air dance by a stripper. The lifeless Giants dropped to a lowly 0-5 after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Just when they thought things couldn’t get any worse, a strip club has stopped showing their disappointing games. NYC strip club Rick’s Cabaret New York has stopped airing Giants games because it’s making...

Phil Simms on the Giants struggles: “You always have to give a lot of the blame to the quarterback”

Former Giants great Phil Simms isn’t ready to give quarterback Eli Manning a pass for the Giants 0-5 start this season. “You always have to give a lot of the blame to the quarterback, especially when you’re throwing interceptions at the numbers that he has,” said Phil Simms on this evening’s broadcast of “NFL Monday QB” on CBS Sports Network via Tom Rock of Newsday...

Manning, Romo lead Week 5 Fantasy Revelations

Here are some detailed Fantasy Revelations off a select listing of Sunday games. Perhaps next week (depending on baseball), we'll have more time to delve into three books of nuggets ... and mini-rants involving second-tier tailbacks who cannot stay healthy. 1. There's nothing new to proclaim about the Broncos and Cowboys ... even if it might have been the greatest outing...

Off The Top: Eagles 36, Giants 21

Did you find it was easier to get up this morning? Notice how today wasn’t quite as bad as other Mondays? Make it into work with a little extra pep in your step? If so, relax. It is not the end of times (Soon, though. Soon). No, it is simply the Monday after an Eagles win! When all seems right with the world. It’s a glorious day, indeed. So, without further ado, here’s this...

Chicago Bears vs New York Giants: Horrible Thursday Night Football

Everyone knows that the ‘Thursday Night Football’ game is a nice link between Monday and Sunday games, but produces cringe-worthy television. Chicago and New York are fortunate enough to get their mandatory mid-week game out of the way early. Both teams head into their night tilt looking at was has gone wrong more than what has gone right. The Bears have lost two straight games...

Report: New York Strip Club Won’t Show Giants Games Anymore Because They’re Too Depressing

The Giants are still winless, and New Yorkers are having a tough time dealing with the depression. Things are so bad, in fact, that one New York-area strip club won’t be showing Giants games again anytime soon. Rick’s Cabaret New York decided to black out the Giants after their dismal 36-21 loss to the the Eagles on Sunday, according to Guyism. The dismal 0-5 start to the Giants’...
