TEAMS: Detroit Lions
Former Detroit Lions receiver Tommie Boyd has been sentenced to at least five years in prison for having sexual contact with a teenage girl. The Oakland Press of Pontiac (http://bit.ly/KtC3cG ) reports that Boyd was sentenced Friday, a month after pleading no contest to two charges, including second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a 15-year-old girl at a movie theater in Oakland County. He had served as the girl's trainer in sports. Boyd already is in prison for inappropriate contact with a girl in Macomb County. He played for the Lions in the late 1990s and later worked as a personal trainer and track coach at Fraser High School.

Calvin Johnson Might Be Madden Cursed, But At Least the Cover Looks Sweet

If you haven't heard by now that Calvin Johnson is on the cover of Madden 13, get out from under your rock. Basically, I want this cover. Yeah, so he's got the same look...

We need to stop messing around with these has-beens and never gonna-bees and go get somebody who...
