Chris Baker wasn’t on the street for very long. The Patriots surprisingly cut Baker on March 4, a move that he had no inkling of. But now, the sturdy blocker has a new home. Baker just agreed to a deal with the Seahawks, according to ESPN.com’s Adam Schefter. Baker had just 14 receptions for 142 yards and two touchdowns in 2009 after coming over from the Jets and having a huge postseason. He did emerge as a pretty stout blocker. Baker will earn $4.75 million over two years, an agreement that includes $2.75 million in the first year in Seattle. That’s slightly more than he made with the Patriots. Anyway, both former Pats tight ends have found teams. Remember, Watson landed in Cleveland yesterday. Meanwhile, coach Bill Belichick’s team is still searching for their own players at that position.
