The team announced the signing of six players off their practice squad to future contracts today. Those players include wide receiver Drew “D.J.” Davis, tight ends Tommy Gallarda and Ryan Winterswyk, offensive tackle Kyle Jolly, and safeties Matt Hansen and Suaesi Tuimaunei. That follows up two moves the team made last week with signing a pair of long snappers: Corey Adams and Scott Albritton.
Davis, Winterswyk, Hansen, and Tuimaunei were all undrafted free agents signed with the team this summer. Davis spent the entire year on the team’s practice squad. Winterswyk was added in November after the team released him with an injury settlement at the end of training camp. Tuimaunei was added in October, and Hansen just before the final week of the season. Who should the Falcons blame for their 24-2 loss to the Giants? CineSport’s Noah Coslov sits with D. Orlando Ledbetter of the AJC to ask this and find out what other changes will take place as offensive coordinator interviews in Jacksonville today.
Here’s my working list of candidates to replace defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder.
1. Mike Nolan
2. Steve Spagnuolo

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Here’s what Falcons coach Mike Smith had to say after the game.
Obvioulsy the game wasn’t the way we wanted to go today. We didn’t make enough plays...
Dunta Robinson doesn’t see any reason why the Giants should be considered certain roadkill against the mighty Packers on Sunday.
The Falcons’ veteran cornerback wouldn’t go so far as to predict a Big Blue upset in the NFC divisional playoff matchup, but Robinson thinks the defending Super Bowl...
Being embarrassed in the playoffs is becoming a habit for the Atlanta Falcons. It's one that has them wondering what they can do to break it.
