FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) --The Atlanta Falcons have placed offensive guard Garrett Reynolds on injured reserve with a lower back injury.
The team signed guard PhillipKeith Manley to the active roster.
Reynolds started six games this season before missing the last two games. Rookie Peter Konz moved up as the starter as the Falcons (8-0) remained the NFL's only unbeaten team.
Reynolds has played in 28 games with 14 starts in four seasons with the Falcons.
Manley was signed by Atlanta as an undrafted rookie out of Toledo in April. He later was signed to the Falcons' practice squad.
Atlanta plays at New Orleans on Sunday.
BEST OF MAXIM
The Falcons have made another roster move this week. This time they have cut Lousaka Polite and have re-signed Mike Cox.
For a team that passes roughly 60% of the time, the Falcons sure have made some moves at FB this year. It started back in May when starter Ovie Mughelli became a salary cap casualty. In August, the Falcons put rookie Bradie Ewing on injured reserve and...
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver loves to run off at the mouth, sometimes without an apparent thought to what he’s even saying. His twitter feed @RoddyWhiteTV is pure comedy, and most of the time White’s not trying to be funny. White has started yapping again, and the masses in the Nola are not going to be [...]

The Atlanta Falcons are starting to get questions about perfection.
The Falcons (8-0) have gotten off to the best start in franchise history, but lineman Tyson Clabo points out that they're still only halfway through the regular season, with a number of tough games still to come. That includes a trip to New Orleans on Sunday, plus a December game against the Super Bowl champion...
Its 11 am MST on a day after the Atlanta Falcons beat the disoriented Dallas Cowboys to go 8-0 for the first time in their franchise history, and the Falcons still aren’t getting any respect. And I’m not about to give them any respect either. At least not now. Just an “Atta Boy”!
I will acknowledge that Matt Ryan has finally elevated his game to that next level, and those...
Falcons halfback Michael Turner rumbled his way to 102 yards rushing Sunday in a 19-13 win over the Cowboys.Fantasy Spin:Turner has had an up and down season but is still on pace to rush for over 1,000 yards. He's not one of the league's elite backs anymore but Turner is still a serviceable flex or RB2 option for fantasy owners.
What Went Right The defense once again was solid this week. Ware got pressure constantly and made sure to leave Matt Ryan’s face print onto the field before the game was over. Ratliff showed signs of him old self and until his injury, he was walling off the middle to Michael Turner and charging into the pocket consistently. McCray has shown that he may be a legitimate option...
If Jerry Jones was unhappy with the way the Dallas Cowboys had played leading up to Sunday night’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons, he must be irate now. The Cowboys’ offense sputtered once again on its way to a 19-13 loss, lowering their record to 3-5.
After the game, Jones was looking to get into the locker room to likely share a few not-so-nice words with his team. Or maybe he...
When a team like the Falcons reach the midway point and the biggest question about them is why they don’t get more respect, then you’re having a pretty good season.
It’s difficult to get off to an 8-0 start and still fly under the radar, but still, teams like Green Bay, Chicago and the 49ers get brought up as the best in the NFC before the Falcons do. Some point to their...
Much has been made of the Atlanta Falcons beating inferior opponents - often unimpressively - en route to a perfect record at the season's halfway point.
They'll get another team with a losing record Sunday, but the New Orleans Saints appear to be on the rise.
In what could be a high-scoring affair at the Superdome, the Falcons look to remain unbeaten when they face a Saints...

Arizona's bye week couldn’t have come at a worse time, in the midst of five-game losing streak with the Atlanta Falcons on deck in Week 11.
