Jason La Canfora reported Tuesday evening that the Atlanta Falcons could be a potential suitor for defensive tackle Richard Seymour. The Falcons and Broncos are among the teams putting out feelers to Richard Seymour. I expect more suitors to develop — Jason La Canfora (@JasonLaCanfora) March 12, 2013 Photo credit: Keith Allison / Foter.com / CC BY-SA Pat Yasinskas elaborated on the possibility shortly after, reminding us that Thomas Dimitroff started his tenure as a personnel during the same period the team drafted Semour in the first round in 2001. And as we all know, Dimitroff would go on to become Atlanta's general manager seven years later. Seymour is currently coming off a pedestrian year in 2012, in which the 33-year-old only participated in eight games due to injury. He posted 15 tackles and three sacks ffor the season.  The 12-year veteran has registered 496 tackles, 57.5 sacks, 40 stuffs and 35 defended passes in his career. Should the Falcons sign Seymour he would more than likely be a situational player that would shore up the teams defensive line. He could also prove to be a far more cap-friendly option than free agent Vance Walker, as his recent decline in production and injury history should place his current market value around the veteran minimum. With that, do you think a veteran like Seymour is worth taking a gamble on? Do you think signing a defensive end - although Seymour is capable of playing on the outside in limited snaps -  should remain the Falcons priority? Who is on your defensive wish list moving forward, why?
